A simple photograph of a two cylinder engine.
Not dated.

Thomas

These old post cards are just GREAT! THANKS

I typed the words Lloyd and Morristown into my database and learned a bit of new information on this rather obscure engine mrfgr.
My notes say (LLoyd) Thousand Isle Boat and Engine Company Saracuse, New York 1905-1907, next ads 1908 are in Morristown,N.Y.
Also Morristown Boat and Engine Company showed up so I compared photo files of each and it looks like Morristown Boat and Engine Co. was either affiliated with or successor to the Lloyd engine and The Thousand Isle Boat and Engine Co ?
If anyone has further interest in these Companies I will look into it .

Has anyone seen or have one of these later styled engines as in these ads??

This is a brief article appearing in the December 1908 issue of MotorBoat. Has a bit more information on the company's products.
