My interest in Putt putts started when I saw my first one, an ex-hire boat, when I was about 15. [early 1980's]
I was told that grandad's brother used to make boats in a local factory in Dee Why NSW before my time, but became dis interested when hearing that they were fibreglass. Only recently when mum showed me some old photos, I discovered that they had inboard engines.
Does anyone know what make/ model this one is? I recently spoke to grandad's nephew who vaguely remembered the name Stuart Turner.

My wife and I met Greg and his mother recently and 'by jingo' she is still a top sort.

here is a pic of my Grandma in the boat with Grandpa. This was the flood of 1965, http://www.big-river.com/br.story.c.html
and I expect the water is about 34 degrees. The bridge in the background was just north of Red Wing, over the Vermilion river. She doesn't look as happy to be in the boat as the lady above.
