I would like info. on a 1908 1 1/2hp. Major Jones Marine Engine. Built in Detroit, MI. What is the make of the carb. There is no nmae on it. I would like to see a parts list. Thanks for any help.

Use the search above and search for Little Giant and Detroit Auto Marine there is a lot of info on here.

I've seen the Little Major and Detroit Auto Marine engines, I think the name changed between 1907-1908. I've never seen the Major Jones, is this where the little Major came from?

Thanks for all the help and Info. on the Major Jones Engine. Here is a pic. of the carb. that was on the engine. I do not think it has the right check valve (alum) in it. Maybe someday I will find a carb. to compare it with. I am having trouble getting the pic. up, so will keep trying. Thanks Harry
