Just picked up 4 good make n breaks, this one is 5HP.Barnes Make N Break engine, it is conplete and turns over fine. I think with a little tinkering she can be a runner. Where was this engine manufactured. Also got a double 8 Acadia, 5hp Acadia, 8hp Imperial and a smaller Acadia, maybe a 3hp. A end to a very good weekend of picking. 5hp Barnes

Looks like the 5 hp Barnes I've got. they were made in St. John's , Newfoundland. the company is still on the go. By the time I got to asking questions, I was told that the engine parts had been cleared out and gone. Over the time I've met a few that remember when the engines were on the go and leftovers pushed to the back of the shop.
