Anyone have an operating Stanley with M&B as my Emmons (pics attached) please let me know what the trick to setting the igniter is please.

Rebuilding this igniter without having some of the most important parts was a trip. It looks like my "guess" about the springs above the arm were wrong. Screwing the jam nuts down to within a few thou of the arm seems to have fixed the intermittent opening of the points. Got a nice snappy, solid spark now. Had it running just enough to know it should be ok. Show this Sat.
that I'm hoping to take it to.

Thanks Larry, That's the mixer from the engine we traded for (turns out to be a "Toquet")
I just today had the Emmons running for over an hour. Had to be sure all was ok for the show next month. Now I need to concentrate on finishing the Dunn twin
