This is my latest purchase, a Gilmore 2 cylinder 4hp. It has an alluminum base, drip oilers, three port design, manufactured in Detroit. Does anyone have any info on this engine or company.

J.B.

Gillmore Motor Mfg Co. is listed in 1913 index of marine eng makers.

Looked through a lot of material, this is the only ad I can find so far.Says three types of engs
I would like to know what they were. E.J. Willis mentioned at bottom of ad was a marine supply catalog Co.,a 1913-14 copy might show the line of engs ??

Gillmore ad

This is only file picture I have, been in file 2 yrs, don't know source ??
