Hello everyone,

The only thing I know about this engine is that it is not seized. Can anyone tell me if it is complete.

Thanks

Chris

The carb that you'll want for this engine is a Schebler 1 in.
These carbs were used in many many applications in stationary and marine applications so it shouldn't be too hard to find one.
There are instructions on setting up the carb on this web site in the Technical Section

You'll also need a buzz coil like in a Model T Ford - there are plenty of these to choose from but best results have been obtained with a modern version using up to date components.

For sure, you'll need to use a gas:oil mix for the engine.

Thank you for the replies.

The serial number is 7972, the model number is blank. The location of the motor is Lake of the Woods.

There are a couple of other engines which have been used as lawn ornaments, I will check them for a carb.

If a buzz box is made of wood with contacts on the top then I have one. It has a canadian tire sticker on it for $5.25 and the year is 1965. It's pretty much as old as I am. :-)

If I can get thru the snow I will check for a carb this weekend.

Thanks again

Chris
