I worked at Acadia Gas Engines in Bridgewater,NS, during the last years of their engine manufacturing. It was a sad day when they closed the shop. However, I do have some technical information on some marine engines if any readers are interested. I can make a copy, scan it and send it via e-mail.

I'll be the first to say I would be very interested! I have a running 5hp Acadia. Unfortunately I have no idea of the age. It has a S/N of 55, but have come to realize that probably means nothing.
As sad as it must have been it must have also been a facinating experience to work there.
I bet there are a bunch of people here who would love to hear about some of your recollections.

Having spent some time doing QA in small and large N.S shipyards and foundaries I bet it was sad, fond memories of decent places to work.

I hear folks in shipbuilding are doing well there once again. That is great.

Would love to own a copy of any material you have.
