I could only find three pictures of the shaft and rudder. The engine is direct coupled with about a 5/8" shaft which goes thru a tube. The tube is connected the the red lever which positions the prop for forward neutral or reverse. Works great, start in neutral and back away from the dock or shift into forward. The weeds are from one of the Madison Wi lakes. I questioned the metal rudder but was told that was standard factory. I used super flexible 1/8" wire rope which is what I found on the boat when it followed me home.
