Hello, I'm new to the forum. I found a piston while metal detecting at an old boat racing location. I wanted to see if anyone could provide any information on this piston. Is it marine? How old could it be? It seems odd that it is so short... Any information is appreciated!  |

It's a piston from a 2 stroke engine, probably an outboard, can't tell you any more about it. |

Looks a lot like a Mercury piston, but hard to tell with that much corrosion. |
