Hi All,

My dad and I restored a 6 HP "Famous" model Regal marine engine in 2009. We determined the horsepower and model based on dimensions from an old specification sheet that was given to us.
Unfortunately, the serial number tag was no longer with the engine.

Does anyone know when they produced this earlier style Regal in the 6 HP size? Are there other Regals of this vintage out there and how many?

Thanks,
Eric

Try Richard Stuber in Michigan. He lists a 2 cyl 8hp
Regal running in has 1900 22 foot Matthews launch in the 2015 ACBS member directory. Phone two three one-44five-two two 9 two. [email protected]

Great job on your Regal engine!
