For those of you that attended the Calvert show this little engine runs better than the Brown and Talbot that I had there.

Gentlemen:
I would like to seek your advise! I am in the market to purchase an old make or brake type engine as a gift for my wife! Some twenty years ago she owned a boatyard and she loves old engines. I would look for either a restored engine (like a Detroit 3 hp or similiar) but it doesn't have to be in complete restored condition or a rust bucket to fix up myself. I do not plan to actually use this engine but rather display it. I saw really nice engines in "Wooden Boat" Vol. 30 pg.59. Can you help me? Thank you.
