Does anyone have original manufacturers literature [or otherwise] on how to operate the Direct Reversing 4-stroke Fisherman Engine/ or simmilar? Not that i have one or these engines, but have been fascinated by these systems.
I use a direct reversing Blaxland 2-stroke currently, but it would also be interesting to read other 2-stroke manufacturer's reverse instruction too! Thanks;
Gregoryan

I don't have a manual but I have an engine in progress. The timer is like a two cycle, has an ignition disconect lever on it. The rocker arm has a roller on a sliding shaft with a knurled knob and a locking detent, sliding in or out engages forward or reverse cam. To reverse you have to kill the ignition, advance timing all the way, when it's near it's last round you have to switch the cam and release the kill lever. I think it's going to take some practice to get it right, but it works smooth in my mind.
