Does anybody have one with a brass tag? If so, could I get a rubbing so that I can have some tags made?

Also, does anybody have any lit for this engine.

Thanks

bill

Welcome, Bill. Does the tag look like this? (from the position of the screw holes I mean) 5 and 3/16" center to center on the holes.

I don't know. I don't have the engine yet and there is no tag on it. What model is that from?

Thanks for the picture, any chance I could get a rubbing? I will make a few of them and you can have one.

thanks

bill

Bill, I believe the one on my Model K(?) F-M is better so I'll take a look and see. Sure, I can send you a rubbing. I'll get your address off your magneto page, OK?

Yes, that would be great! My web page address is current. Do you think that there will be many F-M marine engines at Coolspring?

Thanks!

Sorry Bill, I forgot about this. I'll send you the spare tag tomorrow and you can let me know when you're done with it.

Bill (blopoulos) sent me this which I think he intended to be posted on the board:

quote:

Not a problem. Excellent! I just got the materials to do the job, I wil lbe sure to make you a spare tag. Do you need any Mianus tags or know anyone who does? I have two originals from my engine that I can duplicate at the same time.
