Ad says "The Little Tiger" 2hp 2 cyl "complete outfit for installation in canoe, rowboat.launch $75 in 1909. Motor alone was $50. Northwestern Machine Co. Detroit Mi. Company may have moved to Eau Clare WI See May 1914 Motorboat magazine- Northwestern Motor Company. American Motor Company twin cylinder 1908- Eau Clare WI looks like Little tiger in circa 1908 ad????

hoppy, try a large city library for copies or micro- fiche of prewar RUDDER or MOTOR BOATING magazines for boat/motor pictures. Some of the 1900 to 1930 RUDDER front covers are very beautiful renderings of wistful boating scenes. Many suitable for enlargement and framing.
