Bob Holcomb sent in this movie of a Easthope running. It is "sideways" and I don't know how to rotate it...

I have a scan of a timing diagram from an Easthope catalogue. Not sure if I can get it small enough to post and still be readable...no it is 119KB now, no way I can make it 50KB. Coming your way now.

Robert,
Send it to me and I will see what I can do with it's size. Since it's only a diagram maybe I can change the compression. No not the compression ratio.....

To lazobill regarding your 6-8 Easthope. I have lots of info on Easthopes and also have a registry of engines still out there. Send me your serial number and I will supply you with the day your engine was completed, the original owner etc. The valve timing is the same for all Easthopes....the simple way is to set the cam gear so that the exhaust valve lifter and push rod are starting to move when the TDC mark on the flywheel is at 30 degrees before bottom center. There were never any marks on the gears to set the timing. I may also have an NOS cam gear for the 6-8.....Joe

Here is the Easthope timing diagram. If you download it to your PC and look at it "fullscreen" it still has enough quality to be readable.
