I need help in choosing a gasoline fuel (water/separator) filter for this engine. I have one on board but feel it needs to be replaced. I am rebuilding the fuel supply line to the engine, and I would like to get the proper parts. I have seen the filters listed in Boat US but just would like some reassurance. Thanks... James Hall

Am in the process of purchasing a sailboat with a palmer60 engine. Owner states engine runs fine at cruise, but tends to get hot at idle. What spare parts should be on board? Should I plan on taking an outboard for safety? Am taking the boat from NewYork city to Buffalo on the Canal.
