I have a 1969 Trojan with a Chrysler 318 in it and need to get a new thermostat for it...Does anyone know where I could find one or at least one that would work. The manual indicates it should be 140 degrees. Thx.

Do you know the original part number for the thermostat you need?

It could be this Sierra part 18-3551 which matches Chrysler part number 4142885

see Sierra catalog page 448.

Thx but I'm not sure that is the right part. The luck part is the one we currently have seems to be working fine. We have contacted Vernatherm the makers of the thermostat and we should know next week if they have another for us. Thx again for your help. :-)
