HALLETT is one of the marine eng mfgrs that has very little info available. Established 1916 made gasoline engs and got into the oil engs or diesels, they were still in business after WWII.

these are copies of ads-- hope their readable !

Thats the best I can get this ad, its a copy sent to me, it does not have enough pixels to be enlarged. Spent a few hours looking for Hallett ads in my library but no luck !!

Greetings all,

Does anyone know:
1. If there is any relation between this company and the current Hallett boat manufacturer in Southern California?

2. But more importantly, if either the engine company or the current Hallett builder are at all related to Fred "Pappy" Hallett that was a boat builder and Unlimited / APBA official from Alameda from the 50s and 60s??

Cheers,

Lew

The West Coast Sterling Guy!
