I own a 1947 steelcraft that has a chrysler ace marine flathead six. the engine is seized. i pulled it out of the boat just the other day, im looking for information as of where i can get parts and whatnot. im looking to rebuild the engine and reinstall it into the boat.

any comments would be great

The Chrysler Ace is the same engine as the Dodge and Plymouth Cars.
1947 would be 217CID. NAPA can order most internal parts. Another more reasonable place is Terrill Machine in DeLeon, TX

i called the local napa store and they said they cant get anything older then 1949...

im going to contact the place in deleon tx

Jake,
Go back to NAPA and find the OLDEST person there. The kids won't spend the time to look it up. The ACE was a 217CID till 1954. It's probably the same as yours.

I have a Ace Chrysler Marine S-M6 been in a barn for the last 40 years. Seems to be complete except for the three Carbs. Has the transmission. FREE pickup in Bandon Oregon.
