Despite ads by several different companies spanning a decade in the early 1900s, I have yet to see one of these double opposed engines. This Sintz is from 1907. Its hard to see because the original ad was not very clear, but this one is festooned with at least seven oil cups.

Here is a nice one from some advertising. The 'Model' engine by Central City Iron Works. Do any of these exist? Appears to be 4 stroke with make and break ignition.
