Sure hope someone can get this large 4 cylinder Doman marine engine located in Linwood Michigan. I believe it can be purchased at a real reasonable price. It may eventually go to the scrap yard if no one gets it. If someone is interested click on my name and email me and I will get you in touch with the gentleman that owns it.

Johnny - call Don Bashline who is well connected with the folks at the Coolsping, PA engine museum and see if he or someone he knows is interested.

Sorry Bob, It's all about respect. Something my Mom & Dad taught me at a early age. As I have gotten older I started calling people by the first name but every once in a while the respect and teachings just come out automatically.

If I hear anything on the Doman marine engine I will let you know. Please do the same for me as I would like to know that it got a good home.

I emailed the owner of the Doman 4 cylinder and ask if anyone had picked it up. He said the he still has the engine and it is available if someone wants it. I was hoping it might be on its way to Cool Springs but I'm not sure what happened with the deal.

I'm amazed someone hasn't snapped that up. You guys are spoiled for fresh water cooled engines obviously!

Atwater Kent Type H ignition by the look of it.

Looks like there would have been a large force feed lubricator driven off that bronze pulley on the end of the camshaft.
