December 16, 1773 342 chests of tea belonging to the British East India Company were thrown from ships into Boston Harbor by American patriots disguised as Mohawk Indians, an act of political protest.
After ruining a lot of probably very good tea the city of Boston from the turn of the century to WWII produced (from my records ) 53 different marine engines.
