I blew the head gasket on this vintage 1965 Nordberg Knight, have had it boiled and milled. I am in need of possible sources for head gasket and torqueing sequence and pounds.

I have the port engine to do also.

I found possible gaskets as suggested. The site references their product as "Hercules" How do I verify the "Hercules" is the Nordberg Knight block? Thank you.

Glen, put Nordberg in the search function. Drrot tells you where to look for the Hercules ID number on the Nordberg block. Trust Mr. Jim Staib

The Hercules number is stamp on a little flat spot just below the head in the middle of the block you will have to clean off a little paint. The last head gasket I got for my Chris craft came from Napa.
