I have recently bought a houseboat which is about 25 years old and it has an Inboard Marine Diesel Engine in it. I cant seem to find any information on the Manufacturer or find anything on the engine. Id like to find a Service Manual and Parts information on this engine, but i have had no luck as of yet. Can anyone point me towards some information on it?
Thanks in Advance

Thermo Electron was the parent company of Crusader at one time.

Crusader made a diesel engine based on the GMC Toro-Flow engine. I'm not sure about the "DH225RH" model number, most of the crusader diesels I hear about were the DH478.

You should go on the board at MarineEngine.com and ask the question in the Crusader section.

thanks so much...
However Im just a bit confused.
I went to the MarineEngine.com site and in looking around there Crusader is listed under Gas Inbord Engines, and there is no Listing for Crusader under Inboard Diesels so im not sure where I should post there.
Thanks Again.

That's a good point!

Go ahead and post it in the Crusader gas section. There is no Crusader diesel section because there weren't many Crusader diesels produced.

What you want is to have your question noticed but those familiar with Crusader engines.

You can also use the search function on that board and search for crusader AND diesel.

I have Thermo Electron Raw water pump part no. 97221 with a plastic housing that is cracked. Trying to source a replacement pump, or plastic housing without taking a second mortgage out on my house. can anyone point me in the right direction?
