help, i have a sabb, 2jh 30hp, twin, fully reconned by SAVAGES, the then main dealer, 20yrs ago for the M.O.D. it has been sat in a crate since been reconned, with the royal navy, i have just had a narrowboat shell built , and the engine installed today, 25th sept, my shell builder could not get it started, he said that they was too much air in the fuel, at the top end,he is no expert on Sabbs, but thinks it might be the fuel pump, when i aqquired the engine it had clean oil in it, any info would be greatly welcomed, cheers baza,

sabb 2jhr, will not start, i had missed the letter r off the engine model no. the engine was reconned to a [lifeboat specification ] for the m.o.d. its flywheel is sealed, so they could be partly submerged and still keep running, it has 24v electrics, will get the website address later, with details of the engine, think it was [SABB LEGENDARY MARINE DIESEL ENGINE] CHEERS BAZA
