Greetings all!

I'm helping a friend rebuild a 43 year old wooden sailboat in St. Maarten and we have a mystery on our hands. We have a Mercedes Benz V-10 Diesel engine inboard and we're having trouble finding specs or a repair manual for it. If we can find this info, we'd like to keep it in the boat, but I'm afraid that as our hurricane-season deadline approaches, we might have to get a rebuilt Detroit Diesel instead. The numbers I've found on the block are:
A7056
97528
403-141-2301-K2
There was one other number, the entirety of which I could not read due to an element blocking my view: 0403-011-141-0

If anybody can find anything, you will be immoratilized in our ship's logs as heroes!

Thanks!

Chaps, The OM 403 is an engine which was built for trucks as of 1970. So to get spareparts you should contact your local Mercedes Benz Truckcenter. The trucks in which these engines were built in were LP 1632.
Normally especially for Mercedes all spareparts should be no issue to get. Also documentations.
Let me know if you've problems.
