I don't like your changes - we just did a pair of Gardner 8L3Bs that were under for 3 months. On salvage they were stripped down within 3 weeks to last nut and bolt. The components just survived except for salvage/sling damage and some alloy parts turning to toothpaste. We got one running from two, and have a lot of spares, but we only just caught them. Suspect you will have badly damaged crank, pistons, camshaft, followers, valve gear plus the injection system will be damaged. I'd look for another motor. Start by looking inside the sump and rocker cover - if there is lots of rust over 4 years, the engine just might have a future life as a mooring.

Seized engine- Kroil.
One of the senior members, Matt Morehouse, has suggested soaking seized assemblies in Kroil and waiting at least a week. I have a SABB 2 H clutch assembly- with forward and reverse sitting in saltwater for a year. I let it sit in Kroil for a month and it has worked great for the last 6 years.
