Living in Florida I was interested in a response to your inquiry, There is an exceptional Kalenberg
Marine engine at the "Florida Flywheelers" in Fort Meade. It was owned and donated a few yrs back by a grandson of one of the early prominent and pioneer familys of Miami. The engine was ordered and installed in the first Pilot boat in the port of Miami. The engine was put in excellent running condition at quite an expense before it was donated, but seeing it about six months ago the club wasnt running then, This eng belongs in a Maritime museum but there are none of any consequence in this part of the country ??

I also live in Florida, but have recently taken a cruise on a boat that has a (1939) kahlenberg engine. I took some video from my digital camera. I have a short video with sound I could email you, if you care to have it?

Anne,

Sure, thanks... that would be great.

You could email it to me at [email protected] and I will post it and provide a link from here.

Please also include the name of the vessel and any other info you have.

Andrew, is it time for a Kahlenberg category yet?

There was a nice one on eBay recently:

I wonder who got it?
ebay says it went for 2,900.00
seems pretty reasonable

I pointed it out to Kahlenberg Bros. but they said they already had one for the front lobby!

The next size larger, but that takes it from 3,500 lbs to 5,450 lbs. 20-24 HP to 30 to 36 HP. It's about 18" longer. It appears not to have been run since being restored.
