we have set the kahlenberg on its new foundation and have built a roofover it.plans are to enclose it and the franklin engines and make the walls so that they will open down half way.hopefully we can get the kal cleaned and painted before the show in august.so if you would like to see a unique engine started and running come to the Western michigan old engine show in Scottville mi.it uses built in diesel torches to preheat the cylinders and 250 pounds of compressed air to turn it over to start it ,weighs about 4 tons.

Greetings from a fellow Kahlenberg owner and fan! Can't wait to get back to my "home" on the MV Angus, and located for the winter in Sturgeon Bay, WI, until May 15, 2006.
