A spur of the moment decision to take Trolley Operator Training at the Shore Line Trolley Museum kind of took all of my spare time this summer. In fact when it is all over for the year next week I will have almost 400 hours of operating trolley cars at the 2 Trolley Museums in CT.

So OK why am I talking about trolley cars on OME?
Well all the pics I took at Mystic this past summer sat on my PC in a folder on the desktop. Every time I saw them I would think I really need resize them and post them on OME. Well as the summer was over and all that I decided posting them on Christmas would be kind of a present to all of you and a reminder of warmer weather for those of us up here in the northern half.
So here they are in no particular order except for the first few.
Merry Christmas all
Helen and Ernie Darrow

The 2009 show was the year of ships towering over our displays.

How to win friends and influence people...to leave the area that is. Note how as the smoke clears you can see that everyone under the canopy is gone except for the engineer

Thanks for taking the time to shoot and post the photos Ernie. I always enjoy looking at them. Maybe someday I can make it to the show.
