Hi Ernie,

Have you run this Detroit? I have never tried running a Detroit with out some kind of throttle control or governor on it and was wondering if you are able to get the engine to idle down with that mixer and using just the timer lever? You would think that the engine would run fast with that setup?

Haven't run this one but I have run an almost identical one with no throttle. Real good speed control with just the timing. It is the orange and black one in the pic below.
