Does anyone have an electronic version of a manual or diagram exploding a carburetor for a P-60? I am considering rebulding mine but am new to this stuff and am hoping to find a good manual or diagram to work with. With help from this discussion board, I found that my local parts house carries the rebuild kit for around $30 vs. having someone rebuild it for around $250. Any idea how much time is typically involved in rebuilding using the NAPA kit?

Sorry about the duplicate to a posting in another thread. I inadvertently posted it at the end of another thread talking about carburetors as well.

Have you thought about switching to an aluminium bodied Zenith series 68 carburetor? I have a blow up of your carburetor but my scanner is not working. Will post it later today or tomorrow if no one else responds before then. $250 for a simple rebuild? Geesh! I don't think so!

There is a good instruction sheet with the Napa 2-1564 rebuild kit. Takes a couple of hours and you need to clean all the passages and may want to pass fine wire through some of the idle jet passages. Blow compressed air through every passage.

Thanks to all who have replied... especially Eddie for the diagram! Appreciate the offer Bill, but I guess I will tackle this beast here locally.

I might take you up on that offer, Bill, if it still exists.

Builder, have you checked with Moyer Marine for a series 68 carburator?
