Some photos of my on-going BH overhaul.cylinder, bored and honedcrankshaft sleeve bearing, lots of missing metal!oil feed is plugged with metal chipsnew machined sleeve bearingsleeve insallednew Ford oversized piston and rings

Current and (last?) remaining problem.
The crankshaft timing gear is badly pitted. If I had my druthers I'd put a better one in now before installing the flywheel. Does anyone have a gear they can part with?Crankshaft timing gear is badly pitted

BH near completion of overhaul.

New piston and rings.

old crankshft sleeve bearing with lots of wear.

new machined sleeve bearing.

I guess that's all I can post at one time.

The project has been fun. I am anxious to install in 100 year-old power dory and get it onto the water.
