My uncle recently gave me an old International Palmer M392 along with a bunch of parts for it. The serial number is 47446 and it has 265 horsepower. I am trying to sell it but I don't really know much about this motor. Is there a way to find out what year it is or what kind of boat it came in? Also what are these worth when in nice condition? Thanks

If the engine was salt water cooled I would consider it junk. If fresh water cooled it is worth what someone will pay for it.

According to the serial number which seems to be missing the year date I suggest it is about 1969-70.

How can I find out if it is salt water cooled or fresh water cooled? The last digit is 9. Do you know what boats this engine came in?
