Can anyone tell me the weight of one of these with the gearbox? Im looking at an old Atkin boat that was shown fitted with a 12 hp twin, but have no idea of the weight. Hard to believe these things had such a long model life. Simple is best. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Have you set the ignition timing? If it's cranking slow remove the coil wire from the cap and ground it, try cranking it, if it spins fast timing is probably advanced too far.
