Pretty much everything is there except the head and cylinder. Has Model R clutch and a spoked flywheel. Reverse gear cover is broken but probably repairable. Free to a good home - you pay the shipping. Need the space. Maybe someone would like to convert their "bob-tail"?

Oh, and I have a water pump from an NR or ZR three or four cylinder. Will sell for the scrap price - it's heavy! The cap is missing from the 'con-rod' as I recall.

The NR-1 and ZR-1 with the built in reverse gear are very rare. The water pump for the NR-3 or 4 and ZR-3 or 4 is much larger than the water pump for the NR-1 or 2 or ZR-1 or 2. I can help on the R reverse gear cover just happen to have a couple of spares. A ZR-1 with the R reverse gear built in suggest pre 1929 as they went to the XL reverse gear in 29.

Did this gentelman get rid of his engine?
I just dredged a Palmer up out of the creek infront of my house and scrped it off, painted it and gave it to our Maritime museum. Now I'm interested in these engines. Would like to rebuild one that actually runs. Your website is teriffic. Chris
