Any suggestions for removing the pulley off the crankshaft of a Graymarine 4-45 or other Graymarine engine. I'm afraid to use a three arm gear puller because of the thin edge of the "V" where the puller would be pulling. I have removed the key set screw and have applied PB Blaster to loosen up some of the corrosion. Thanks, Arnie

I've had success on simular applications with putting tension on the pulley with a puller and then setting a punch to the center of the shaft and striking the punch with a swift blow from a one pound hammer. Generaly it breaks the pully loose in order to be pulled with the puller....be certain the surface of the shaft is sanded clean and lubed
