I recently purchased a large collection of hardware and paperwork. Included were listings of engines by serial number. Original stuff on Graymarine letterhead dated 1964. I have posted it for all to see.

Jim,
Where would the serial number be located on a Gray? I have a 62 Century Resorter with what I believe to be the original Gray.
Thanks,
Gary

Jim,

Thank you. Now that I know what the code is from your previous post I will see if I can find it on my V8. Will let you know if I find it and where it is located. Will be after work though.
Thank you,
Gary

Thank you very much. Later than most of us like around here (!) but still very valuable information for many people. Here we are trying to figure out early Gray dating and in those days it would have been so easy.
