I have a problem with blow by in my Sea Scout 91 engine. Smoke is coming out of the oil fill/beather tube. Any suggestions for a cure?

Check your oil and make sure it is not diluted with gasoline. Gas can get in the oil from poor spark issues. If the oil gets too thinned by gasoline it will start to blow by the rings (not to mention lose its lubrication properties). If the dilution is large the oil will start to foam. You don't need to ask me how I know this :-) At least check this out before you go the full ringjob route.

Also before rings or any other major over haul...
Is it a salt water engine? If so don't waste your time and money
Hope this helps
