Is there a letter ahead of the set of numbers??? Otherwise...Mid year 1936... model six 112 seems too modern for 1936.

I bet the number is G6886. If so, it is a 1954 thru 1956 gray marine Phantom 112, according to a June 1964 Gray Marine Service Bulletin. If you would like a copy of it, let me know. Pete

Hello, Just purchased a Grey Phantom 6 112 Serial number F53576. Pete could I check the same June 1964 Gray Marine Service Bulletin for this motor?

F serial number engines span 1950-1953, Sorry-can't be more specific

That is correct the service bulletin confirms that number to be a Phantom 6 112 between 1950 thru 1953
