Brand name?
Application?
Would this be appropriate for a rather small marine engine?
It is threaded to screw onto 1-1/4" NPT.

Correction: the threads must be 1" NPT.

It is a Schebler
Possibly from an old motorcycle
A few marine engine mfrs also used them.
