Quite frankly they are about as plentiful as rocking horse feces, but they do pop up every once and a while.

It's a long haul and I was lucky, but I got my 8 Hp. Acadia in Newfoundland last year and hauled it all the way back to Minnesota.

She was in pretty sad shape, however, I nursed her back to life and now she's almost as good as new.

JeannieAlbert, would you mind telling us more about your father? Was he a collector or did he restore these engines as a business?

If you have a variety of engines to sell you could produce a list and members here might be able to assist with values or information etc.

Somehow I lost my user name, but found it in this old post. My computer had a fit not too long ago.

Please ignore this note, it is really only for me. Sorry to waste the bandwidth, but it was the easiest way to regain my user name info.

John,

If you (or anyone else) looses their username or password, you can click on the PROFILE link at the top of any page and then click on the "click here to restore access" link. It will ask for your email address OR username... so all you need to know is your email address.

Thanks.

I have a 6.5 hp Acadian that I would like to sell. It is complete, in running condition, has coil, muffler and gas tank, original grey paint. Located near Peterborough, Ontario.
Any interest?

I wish to buy a make and break engine for marine use. I am wondering if I might have any luck here. Hello sellers out there!

I wish mostly to purchase an Acadia in working condition. There is a "puttpututt" that may have one for sale. Would that be correct?

Thank you, Connie
