Gents,

Anybody sure of the thread type and size on the 'engine side' of the ST brass exhaust? It comes in at just over 2.1" OD and, as every other thread on the engine itself is BSF, I would guess it's 2" Fine. However comma does the Whitworth system extend up to this size? It's certainly not BSP. Have tried 2", 2 1/4" and 2 1/2" BSP fittings with no succcess.

Any advice would be gratefully received. I've nearly finshed rebuilding the ST4 and intend to use the MA's silencer on it.

Jon...it is one one and three quarters BSP.That is two and three thirty seconds of an inch outside diam.Depth of thread.580,Threads per inch [TPI] 11. Probably hard to find ,I made my own out of brass,if you want a pic let me know.
