I have a Stuart Turner P55 For Sale. Bad news, it's in pieces, the water jacket in one cylinder had become blocked, causing overheating and scoring on one side of the piston. The cylinder is still OK, the engine did not sieze. The Good News, the engine was overhauled and had only 10 hours use. New rings were fitted along with new gaskets. The engine is complete. It has a forward and reverse gearbox with dog clutch. The magneto was serviced and checked and is 100% OK. The water pump was overhauled and reconditioned.
The engine is located in Mount Gambier, Please call 0427800609 for more details.}

Thanks for the interest. It has had ten hours of easy use to run in the new rings and resleeved cylinders. Unfortunately two of the water jacket holes in the cylinder became blocked. The engine was always run with Pennzoil 30SAE at 30 to 1. It was used in a 16ft clinker. Please forward a phone number and I'll call you with more details including the negotiable price.

Thanks, Bob

Hi Steve,
Surely the dynamo can be replaced by a current production item from a firm like Lucas in the UK? There must be plenty of firms producing something equivalent worldwide?

Just started my P55 1st time after buying, started running on first touch of the button, in the water tomorrow, I've got to go on the crane at 8am so early start.
mark.
