Hi, Could anyone help me with a P5? I need to replace a spark plug but don't know which type to get. I ordered 1 from Fairways last September and have only just got round to fitting it. I have now found that it doesn't fit. The original that came out was a Champion RF7YC and Fairways sent me NGK B5HS.
The serial number on the engine is 10840. Does anybody know its history?
Thanks
Dave

Hi Dave
you can use NGK B5HS, B6HS or B7HS successfully!
the number is the heat range; lower number, hotter plugs
hotter plugs stop the plug from fouling when idling for long periods
