hi ive got ST R2Y lighting set which i have started to restore but have found a crack in the head ive removed the 4 head nuts but i am having real trouble getting the head free ive made a head puller but still no movment. Are there any nore bolts holding apart from the 4 on top holding the head? cheers simon

Simon, Try some hydraulic pressure. Turn the engine over and see if compression will move it, or you could try grease inserted via the spark plug hole. Then try to hold the engine under compression for a time. Penetrating oil down the studs would help too. It is probably just very well stuck.

The head is almost certainly held on by corrosion around the studs. Try using a proper penetrating oil (plus gas) rather than WD40 and leave it for a week or two before having another go. They can be very tight.
