Here's a presentation that I developed and delivered to the November 2013 Meeting of the DisPro Owners Association.

It's based on Geary and Weston Farmer and provides an overview of propellers, their geometry, and some considerations when choosing a prop.
The basic rule is: If the prop works well for your boat, then it's the right one.
