I have some old transmissions but I think they're too big for a 2 hp Engine. Could somebody recommend the type of transmission I should use. Be happy to buy one or trade one of mine.

Per the Snow and Petrelli thread by Dick Day; Palmer used Snow and Petrelli which became Snow and Nabstadt around 1916. Later evolved to Snow Gear Co. More often they are in/out gears

I have a couple of gears I'm pretty sure are late 20s production that are marked "Snow & Petrelli Mfg. Co." on the flat bar levers, right at the grip. I believe the next change was to Snow & Nabstead. Previous discussion: http://www.oldmarineengine.com/discus/messages/3441/119496.html
