I am seeking information as to a suitable starter for the Blaxland twin. I have never been a succesful bounce starter, but it always starts readily with the strap. Arthritis and a new s/s shoulder joint now means starting is difficult. Previously I had a Lucas 6v dynamotor available but I have since burnt that out on another project. It has been suggested some current outboards have dynamotors but I can't see them being belt driven as I require. Any help would be appreciated. I am located on the Sunshine Coast.

Regards,

Ross.

Hi Ross

I have a starter generator(dyna start ? ) off my Albin 011,
It has twin pulley all wiring, regulator and switch`s got mounting bracket that im sure could be modified to fit.
Wont get used as the Albin has breathed its last breath. Has never been connected to the motor in the 12 years ive had it.
Give us a bell if this would help.

Regards

John
